MEDIATION

Presence and assistance of a third party neutral and impartial (mediator) who guides and facilitates the exchanges and interactions between individuals, to help them clarify the issues and resolve their conflicts in a consensual manner. Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process. The mediator plays a dynamic and engaged role in the design and the conduct of the mediation process, but has no decision-making power regarding the outcome. The decision-making power belongs to the persons concerned. Meditation is an efficient process for various types of conflicts, including:

  • Organizational conflicts
  • Intercultural conflicts
  • Intergenerational conflicts
  • Deep-rooted and identity-based conflicts
  • Community conflicts
